Dubai’s City Walk launches barrierless parking with first hour free for visitors
Automatic payments simplify the parking experience
DUBAI – Dubai’s City Walk has introduced a new barrierless, ticketless parking system, making entry and exit quicker for motorists while offering the first hour of parking free.
The smart parking solution, announced by Parkin, removes the need for physical barriers and paper tickets. Parking charges will now be processed automatically through digital payment systems, creating a smoother experience for visitors.
The free parking offer applies to the first hour across City Walk. At The Boulevard, however, visitors can park free for the first 30 minutes before standard charges apply.
Parking fees
After the complimentary first hour at City Walk, motorists will be charged Dh5 for every hour, or part of an hour, parked. The amount will be deducted automatically from the user's Parkin account. Those without a Parkin account, or with insufficient balance, will receive a payment link to complete the transaction.

Visitors to attractions including Roxy Cinemas, The Green Planet and selected participating outlets can also validate their parking to receive additional benefits.
At The Boulevard, the first 30 minutes of parking remain free. After that, parking costs Dh20 for every additional hour. According to the City Walk website, these charges will be deducted directly from the visitor's Salik account.
Retail benefits
Shoppers spending at least Dh50 at any participating outlet can receive up to three hours of free parking. To claim the offer, visitors must validate their parking by presenting their receipt at the participating outlet's counter.
The latest rollout follows Parkin's continued expansion of smart parking services across Dubai. The company recently signed a five-year agreement with Al Ghurair Centre to introduce ticketless parking at the shopping destination. Under that arrangement, visitors receive three hours of complimentary parking before tariffs apply from Monday to Saturday, while parking remains free on Sundays and public holidays.
